Currently, the basic version of Surface Pro 7 is only equipped with 4GB of memory, Intel Core i3 and 128GB of SSD storage space. At present, it seems that Microsoft has already equipped the new low-end Surface Pro 8 with 8GB of RAM, Intel Core i3 and 128GB of storage space.
Previously, the only models with 8GB memory were Intel Core i5 and Core i7. To get 8GB of RAM, Microsoft customers have to upgrade to models with Core i5 or i7 CPUs.
It should be noted that the plan will always change, and the basic Surface Pro 8 model may still be equipped with 4GB of memory as previously rumored.

Microsoft is currently planning to launch Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 4 in early 2021 and improve internal hardware. According to benchmark test scores found on the Internet, Surface Pro 8 and Laptop 4 will use Intel’s 11th-generation Tiger Lake processors.
In a benchmark test, a Surface device was found online, equipped with a Core i7-1185G7 processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics card. In addition to Intel models, Microsoft seems to be testing a new Surface Laptop 4 with AMD Renoir.
